By concentrating magnetic flux we magnify torque and increase efficiency across the full speed range of the machine.

By surrounding the stator with permanent magnets we prevent magnetic flux leakage resulting in more torque and higher efficiency.

We produce more torque than the competition with less input power.

A NEW CLASS OF MOTOR IS BORN

All Linear Labs motors are based on the Hunstable Electric Turbine (HET) Technology discovered by Fred Hunstable resulting in an entirely new class of electric motors. These motors use a magnetic tunnel to surround the stator resulting in motors producing up to twice the torque of competitor motors, or the same torque in half the size. Linear Labs motors are made made using rare-earth or ferrite magnets depending on our client’s unique application.

Insane Torque Production

The M200 is so torque dense that four Linear Labs M200 motors in a four wheel vehicle can provide more peak torque than a 2020 Porsche 911 Carrera S engine. This is achieved by a smaller distributed electric powertrain with a combined quad-motor volume of just over 4 Liters.

Requirements

Answer our Engineering Requirements questionnaire telling us what you are doing and how you want your motor to perform.

Analysis

We sign a Motor Sizing Agreement and perform an electromagnetic analysis based on your Engineering Requirement document.

Agreement

Once the Motor Sizing Agreement is completed we enter into a Proof of Concept Development Agreement.

Execution

Linear Labs executes the POC Development Agreement and develops multi-stage prototypes as we move toward volume production of your motors and controllers.
